"With skilled ferocity, first-time feature director Stephen McCallum injects the viewer into this explosive drama of Shakespearean proportions. McCallum, working off a script from Matt Nable, crafts a complex, classic story of power struggles within a motorcycle gang, exploring themes of fraternity, loyalty, and betrayal."

I'm proud to announce that my first feature film,1%, has been the recipient of Screenwest's West Coast Visions Fund.

"1% is a story of brotherhood, loyalty and betrayal set within the primal underworld of outlaw motorcycle gangs. It follows Paddo, heir to the throne of the Copperheads MC, who has to betray his president to save his brother’s life. When this betrayal leads to a split in the club, Paddo has to come face to face with a choice between loyalty and blood."

The film is written by Matt Nable and will be produced by Jamie Hilton and Michael Pontin for See Pictures 'Ticket to Ride' initiative.

ANZAC by Stephen McCallum

2 years ago I had the privilege of directing the 2nd unit on Glendyn Ivin's Gallipoli. The crew heard the diggers oath that ANZAC day as the dawn rose over our amazing Quinns Post set. It was a moving and humbling experience. Here are a few images I collected from the 14 week production.
